Samuel

This is Samuel outside today.
Just him and the dog. Could
the child play any harder?
or get dirtier in one day? :)

This is the immediate look I
get now when he sees the
camera.. Especially if I have
the nerve to say "Cheese!"

About SmallWhiteHouse

I thought I would give a little insight into how we chose the name of our blog. Years, and years ago when we were pregnant with Mikie, our firstborn, their was a country song on the radio by Doug Stone called "Little Houses"

We used to joke about how the song was made for us. We lived in a little apartment back then, and when I was hugely pregnatn with my 10 lb 2 ounce son, we really did have trouble passing down the hall. To this day we remember it and laugh at how its "our song."

Here are the Lyrics.
A little white house, in the heart of town,
On a little sad street, just a little run down,
Became a home, for Bill and Sue,
Two newlyweds, who did the best that they could do.
And when they brush each other, passin' in the hall,
Sue would smile and say: "This place is pretty small.
But you know, love grows best in little houses,
With fewer walls to separate,
Where you eat and sleep so close together.
You can't help but communicate,
Oh, and if we had more room between us, think of all we'd miss.
Love grows best, in houses just like this.
Before too long, Sue and Bill,
Were makin' plans, for Jack and Jill.
Oh, happy day, when the news came in
But what to do, when they found out Sue was having twins.
When they could not pass each other in the hall,
Well, Sue would smile and say: "This place is really, really small.
But you know, love grows best in little houses, With fewer walls to separate,
Where you eat and sleep so close together.
You can't help but communicate,
Oh, and if we had more room between us, think of all we'd miss.
Love grows best, in houses just like this.
That little white frame house still keeps them warm,
Though it's been thirty-two years, since the kids were born,
And when they look back now, they hold each other tight,
And whisper in each other's ears: "You know you were right.
Because love grows best in little houses,
With fewer walls to separate,
Where you eat and sleep so close together.
You can't help but communicate,
Oh, and if we had more room between us, think of all we'd miss.
Love grows best, in houses just like this.
Yeah, love grows best, in houses just like this.

Happy Mother's Day

We spent our Mother's Day at the Condo with My Mother and Crew! We had a fantastic time!Everyone enjoyed the beach and water. Even the babies seem content most of the time.

Gracie had more than 1 nap everyday. That has NEVER happened! She still is napping twice a day most days since our return.. Makes me want to go back and live there! :0 I can't wait till we go back next week.

Sam and Gracie made their own little island!

They could play like this forever.

Mikie is getting so tall and skinny!!

He is almost as tall as me now!

Topher Laughing it up!

Nana is going to kill me for this pic

So today when my sister Jennifer, and friend Corrinne both shared their new blogs with me, I knew today would be the day!! I just had to conform!
Thanks Corrinne and Jennifer for giving me the kick in the pants I needed!! I think this will be a great way to keep in touch with friends and family and might even be a great stress reliever!
Love ya Chickas!
